iTherm® FEED RING
iTherm® Feed Ring is single-body component with specially designed internal cooling system. It is used as add-on component of Injection System to further improve biscuit cooling rate, resulting in faster biscuit solidifaction.

iTherm® Feed Ring is single-body component with specially designed internal cooling system. It is used as add-on component of Injection System to further improve biscuit cooling rate, resulting in faster biscuit solidifaction.
iTherm® Feed Ring is produced using tool steel forged or rolled blocks and HTS propriatery additive manufacturing technology.
It is a single body component with equal mechanical properties as tool steel monoblock.
Cooling channels can be freely designed according to cooling/heating requirements of the product, not by limitations of using conventional drilling method.
It is highly customizable to specific customer requirements.
In comparison with convetionally made Feed Ring, iTherm® Feed Ring gives you extra flexibility to bring cooling channels near that critical zones.
In comparison with convetionally made Feed Ring, iTherm® Feed Ring only has two connectors for cooling water (IN/OUT). This results in leakage elimination.
In comparison with convetionally made Feed Ring, using iTherm® Feed Ring the heat is distributed much more even over the surface, so the ring is cooling down more evenly and quicker.
In comparison with convetional Feed Ring, using iTherm® Feed Ring you gain time in phase of biscuit solidification, decreasing the biscuit problems related downtimes.
Combining the advantages of iTherm® Feed Ring you can significally shorten cycle time. Our customers have reported up to 15% shorter cycle times using iTherm® Feed Ring
